Summary
Allocate space on server.
Syntax
Description
The function allocates the space specified by Bytes on the FTP server. If the allocation is successfully done, then the method returns True; otherwise, it returns False. The
application should ensure that the method was successfully executed by checking the return value. The method also sets the LastResult property. The value of the LastResult property can be checked to
determine if any error occurred.
This method is typically called prior to a Put operation in order to reserve the space required to complete the file transfer.
