Summary
Status of the attachments.
Description
The AttachmentStatus property is used to indicate the status of attachments in the
OnSetHeader event (and in the deprecated OnHeader event). This property is valid only if
the UseProperty is set to True, otherwise the application must set the Status
parameter in the OnSetHeader (or OnHeader) event. The UseProperty property should normally
be set to False, and the Status parameter should be used instead of this property.
See the UseProperty for information on when to use this property.
For non-MIME messages set AttachmentStatus to 0 and for MIME messages set it to
END_OF_LEVEL to indicate end of header. Otherwise, set the property to 1.
If there is no header, set AttachmentStatus to NO_HEADER. This indicates that there is
no header and the body will not be encoded..
The AttachmentStatus property should be set to the appropriate value inside the
OnHeader event for attachments. There is no default value for this property.
Example
Sub Mime_OnSetHeader (Status As Integer)
' no attachments
If (HeaderIndex = 0) Then
AttachmentStatus = 0
Exit Sub
End If
' increment Indx
Indx = Indx + 1
' finished all attachments
If (Indx >= HeaderIndex) Then
If (MsgType = 1 Or MsgType = 0) Then
AttachmentStatus = 0 ' plain message
Else
AttachmentStatus = END_OF_LEVEL ' mime message
End If
Exit Sub
End If
.. 'fill in all the necessary properties here
AttachDone = False
AttachmentStatus = 1
End Sub
