Summary
Content subtype for the message body or attachment.
Description
The purpose of the Subtype property is to describe the subtype of the data contained in
the body of the message or attachment. The ContentType property and the Subtype property
together specify the "Content Type" field of the header. The Subtype property

A ContentType of "message" and Subtype of "partial" is a partial
message where the source is sent in parts. A ContentType of "message" and
Subtype of "external-body" is an external message which contains only a
reference to the data source and not the data itself.
When CreateMessage is called the OnSetHeader event if fired. This property should be
set in the OnSetHeader event. (The deprecated Create or CreateX method fires the OnHeader
event, and the Subtype should then be set in the OnHeader event.)
When a message is extracted, this property will contain the subtype of the extracted
file after ExtractMessageEnd has been called. Please check this property during the
OnRecvHeader event (This property is also set by the OnExtract event that occurs after the
deprecated Extract or ExtractX method has been called). A ContentType of "image"
and Subtype of "gif" tells the application that the data is an image and this
information may be used to display the raw data.
This property can be changed at design time and at run time before creating a message.
There is no default value for this property.
Example
