Summary
Specifies the name of the VT220 configuration profile to be modified, saved or deleted.
Description
The ConfigurationName property specifies the name of the VT220 terminal emulation settings currently in use. Any action affecting the terminal settings will modify the values of the
configuration profile specified by this property.
The ConfigurationName property must be set to the name of the VT220 terminal configuration profile to be saved before calling the SaveConfig method (or setting VtAction to VT_SAVE_SETTINGS.) The
property must be set to specify a configuration name before the application initializes the VT220 emulation by calling the Initialize method (or by setting the Action property to ACTION_INITIALIZE.)
Before the application can modify terminal emulation settings by setting the VtAction property to VT_MODIFY_CONFIGURATION or before deleting or saving a configuration by setting the VtAction property
to VT_DELETE_CONFIGURATION or VT_SAVE_CONFIGURATION, the ConfigurationName property must also contain the name of a configuration.
There is no default value for this property. This property can be set or read at any time.
Example
Vt220Client.ConfigurationName = "test" Vt220Client.VtAction = VT_MODIFY_CONFIGURATION

"The night before I went on summer
holiday we had to make some 'last minute' configuration changes to
approx.
300 routers, a tedious job to do manually with telnet. We went along with
MS
Excel containing a list of IP-adresses to the routers, and the VIT
telnet-component. One hour later the VBA-application (small is beautiful)
was working, and after another hour all of our routers were updated with
the
new configuration. I just say a big "Thanks" to you all for a good sleep
that night."
